The Scottish Cashmere Club was established in 1998 as a result of an initial industry initiative when representatives from the Scottish knitwear industry recognised the need to work together as a single body in order to sustain, grow and promote the Cashmere Industry generically as one.

The Club is now a bone fide Limited Company and Trade Association representing 15 member Companies.
