Terms and Conditions
The following criteria defines the eligibility for membership of the Scottish Cashmere Club:
1. Membership is restricted to Scottish Cashmere manufacturers only.
2. Member companies must agree to provide data to the Scottish Cashmere Club (which will be treated in absolute confidentiality) for the purposes of evaluation and monitoring of the initiative.
3. Managing Directors of Member companies will be expected to provide a personal signature on behalf of their Company to acknowledge that they will accept and obey the conditions of membership of the Scottish Cashmere Club. This requirement will be renewed if there is a change of Managing Director.
The Member Companies shall be entitled to use the ‘Cashmere Made in Scotland’/Scottish Cashmere Club logo on products (through the creation of a swing ticket or through ‘joint labelling’) that meet the following criteria:-
1. Products made from 100% Cashmere yarns of European origin
Fibre content to be of Chinese or Mongolian fibre only, with a minimum length of 34mm and a maximum micron of 16.5 (relevant to knitwear products only)
2. Products manufactured in Scotland to a high qualitative level
3. Products sold as first line branded merchandise
